Calculus midterm

I am thoroughly unprepared for it. Maybe not thoroughly, perhaps only very much unprepared, but I think I at least have a slight advantage of actually understanding the actual material, which is probably a step ahead of the majority of the class, nevermind that I'm no good at actually putting the material into use.
There's one section of the book that I haven't covered at all. It's only one section, and she hasn't even taught it yet (which makes me think it's silly to include it on the midterm), so I don't want to waste time trying to figure it out on my own if I can spend my time trying to make sense of the rest of Chapter 2. We'll see how that works out.
But my real concern is why am I humming Be A Man from Mulan? I started playing Mark Seibert's CD to get it out of my head, but I'm still humming Be A Man (to the beat of Sunset Boulevard, which sounds slightly odd).

ETA: I am so going to fail this test.

Date: 2010-02-16 11:03 pm (UTC)Yeah, I Sunset Boulevard floats into my head pretty often, and it's a lovely song, so I don't mind it. I love Be A Man too, but I don't really like it stuck in my head.

Date: 2010-02-16 07:57 pm (UTC)Gah! Asshole! Now I'm laughing in class and cant stop. My gross Corporations teacher is looking very disapproving at me but I still can't stop.
Good luck with your midterm anyway, but man I hate you.

Date: 2010-02-16 11:10 pm (UTC)As an aside, is your Corporations teacher gross, or does s/he teach about gross corporations?

Date: 2010-02-17 12:06 am (UTC)Well, corporations as a subject seems pretty gross so far, but yeah I was talking about the teacher.
He sweats about as much as Arpi - but where Arpi is cute, he is gross. So there's no upside to having to look at him. He sweats so much that when he crosses his arms for a minute and then uncrosses them, a bar of arm-sweat has soaked through his shirt and the stain gradually spreads as more sweat from his torso kind of adds itself to the puddle as class progresses. Bleugh.
