1) Burn DIF2007.  I got both discs ripped today at least.  Hopefully my macbook can burn the DVD (it wouldn't for the other two DVDs I need to trade) since it's twice as fast as the old VAIO.  Plus, the macbook does not make scary noises.  I worry about my VAIO sometimes.  Maybe I should run a total system reboot on it.

2) Need to start reviewing German rather than learning Hungarian.  Not only would it be a more economical use of my time, I'm starting to forget my vocab, which is bad.  (On the upside, I'm not having any problem remembering the grammar, but that's not exactly useful without having words to put into the right places.)

3) Need to finish Tales of the Abyss.  It should've been finished long, long ago.  I love the game, so I have no clue what's taking me so long.

4) Seriously need to buy clothes.  I'm beginning to think that if I just wait out the summer months, I'll eventually buy all I need from AVON.

Speaking of German...
*sighs*

If I want to add it to my working languages in the foreseeable future, I need to start working on it as well. Vocabulary is indeed an issue of mine as well, and I know I do have now the best chance to start reading/watching news and the likes of it... but I'm too much of a lazy bum to do it.

Any suggestions?

Klar meine ich es ernst ('serioes' means 'not fishy' on a more formal level, so I think in this context you rather meant 'ernst' for 'serious'). Ich denke wir werden auf jeden Fall noch andere Themen entdecken ueber die wir sprechen koennen.

Und es gibt keine Entschuldigung fuer 'nicht deutsches Fernsehen gucken'. ;P Das kann man naemlich auch uebers Internet. Zum Beispiel www.zdf.de (einer unserer oeffentlich-rechtlichen Sender).

What Greenie suggested below above is probably best. You would probably be less of a headache to understand than me since my German is a disaster. Turns out I only thought I retained my grammar. :(

I learn best my osmosis, so just turning on the TV and zoning out with it in the background helps me. I don't know how.

I'll gladly accept her offer, if she'll have me ;-)! But I do think that your grammar is by far not as messed up as you describe it; anyway it will be amusing to pop up something in German in our conversation every now and then!

If only my lift could be fixed sooner, so that I can bring in the TV and be able to watch German news more often...
