I think its time to give Linux a second chance.
700mb download, currently burning it to a CD. I'm feeling kinda ambivalent about Linux. On one hand, I don't actively use Photoshop or Painter (and have neither on this laptop anyhow) and GIMPshop is a serviceable replacement for my purposes... and I assume my tablet would work alright (and I don't really use my tablet either). There's got to be some sort of media device and if not, there's a nice selection of Windows emulators.
Installing after lunch.
