I have been watching this video on end for the past fifteen minutes or so instead of doing my homework.

It's Kira's final laugh after he's caught and before he dies. English is my favorite, but je suis Kira amuses me like nothing else for some bizarre reason.

Toss-up between Russian and Hungarian for the worst. Russian for stilted delivery (I think his "I am Kira" line is really beautiful though), Hungarian for sounding like Goofy (and generally being all wrong, which sucks, because the rest of the Hungarian dub has been great so far).

I really like the Italian actor's laugh. There's a lot in there -- madness, pain, relief, absurdity, victory. Guy did a bang-up job there.

Yeah, I agree. That one always gave me chills when I passed over it, though they're all pretty unsettling when it comes down to it. I browsed through a few other multilanguage clips, and it really looks like Italian dubbing is waaaay better than our dubbing on average. Then again, I suppose Naruto is not the best reference to make that sort of judgment.

An experience that my friend insists is totally awesome: open up a bunch of tabs and play all the Kiras laughing at once. I have yet to work up the courage to try that.
