I am watching the USA-Brazil game on a Spanish channel.  Because none of my English channels are showing it.  What is wrong with you, America????

In other news, Spanish commercials are just as nonsensical as the English ones.

ETA: 2-3.  Damn.

ESPN isn't showing it?

I think it is, but I don't have ESPN.

Alas and alack. Hope the Spanish keeps you entertained, at least. :)

It did. The commentator did a pretty satisfying "GOOOAAAAL˜˜˜˜!" too, which was pretty much all that mattered.

Unfortunately, we stole defeat from the jaws of victory.

Heh. Gotta love those crazy Spanish-speaking commentators.

Ah, well about the final score. Besides, it's not like people in this country actually watch this strange sport, right? ;)

It's actually the only sport I watch, so Yeah, I guess not.

That's actually quite cool. Most of the people I know who watch soccer also watch at least three other sports regularly.

Yay you! *parties*

Unbeatable. The best commentators ever. I'm so much happier now watching sports in Spain than I was in Germany :P

I'm really surprised that none of the US sports channels would show it? I mean, even if it's not big in the US, it's still a major sport and well, a final? Uhm.

And commercials drive me crazy.

Anyway, if it's if of any consolation, the USA are still the big revelation and people will remember it the next World Cup :)

It's on the cable channels (namely, ESPN, the major sports channel here that I don't have), but I only have the most basic cable subscription--which featured channels that preferred to cover some baseball game that happened at the same time, so I browsed through three channels showing a baseball game and gave up. My dad found me the Spanish channel though.

Yeah, I know we've accomplished a lot this year, so there's really nothing to be ashamed of. I think I let my hopes run away without me.
