Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles just had both a fantastic season finale and a fantastic series finale.  I hope it's not the end of the series, but if it is, they did everything right.  Amazingly enough, if they can continue on to season 3, they still did everything right.  It's pretty much a masterpiece of storytelling that functions both as a complete and true ending and as a bridge to future stories.  Well done.

My Mozart! review is so long that I'm beginning to fear that it won't fit into one LJ post.  ([livejournal.com profile] valancystar?  You have now met someone that you can point fingers at and call extremely long-winded.)

Anyhow, I'm planning another trip to Budapest.  I think I can spare a week in July possibly, but the downside to that is that I won't be working that week then, and therefore not making any money for later trips.  I don't think I've fallen so far as [livejournal.com profile] cricep that I'm measuring currency in theater tickets (I actually measure in McDonald's happy meals if you're curious), but I'd still like that extra money for theater tickets.  Sure, they're like $25 each and a week away from work would only stack up to about $500, and it all counts.  I'd like to do a Thanksgiving trip before everything turns freezing cold, but I'm also quite fond of the idea of spending something like three weeks in Budapest during my winter break.  (Exactly three weeks actually, assuming that I go there the day after Christmas and my return flight takes me directly back to school.)

I kinda want an iPhone. I'm searching for things to bug my dad about for a birthday gift that're around the $100 range, and a refurbished iPhone is $99.

Just so you know, July's not necessarily the best time to catch anything in theatres over here. Last year at least, there only was anything the first week of July.

Yeah, I know, but that's when I'd be visiting (and for a bit of the last few days of June) since it's fourth of July weekend for us. I'm not the sort of person to celebrate that holiday since it's really very gaudy especially in the Washington area, so I figured it'd be as good a time as any to get out of the country. :P

All right. I'd wait for official information before reserving anything, but judging from some ticket sales sites, R&J will probably still be on the first week. Also, Vámpírok Bálja might be, but I don't know yet. I won't be around anymore unless they give me a job here.

Don't worry, I'll wait. :) I'm not as inclined to spontaneously buy up tickets a laas [livejournal.com profile] cricep. :P Vámpírok Bálja and R&J sounds like it'll be worth going though, but either way, I'll have to talk to the internship lady about taking a week off before I decide to do anything.

I figured you'd be gone in June, but are you likely to get a job there?

Please don't ask. I should apply for jobs in order to get them, but I haven't started yet.

My internship is until the end of June.

*shrugs* I hate job applications. And there really hasn't been an opportunity. I don't want to talk about it before I've done something.

Yeah, I think that hate's pretty universal. There's probably a little planet out there with aliens thinking the exact same.

And I suppose that's the last I'll speak of job hunting with you for now.

Oh good, a mozart review! I have a trillion notes made, but I'm so lazy I'll probably wait til you post yours, then just add or disagree with stuff afterwards. There's no need for me to repeat things that are obvious.

Yeah, it's posted on magyarmusicals now. I sorta went into my most pretentious faux-critic mode, but I'd like to think that some of the review is worth reading.

I also skipped the wardrobe malfunctions deal. You covered that pretty well already. :P

I'm also working on figuring out what to ask for from my parents for my birthday. *sigh* I have no ideas. At all.

Huh. Remind me to wish you a happy bday on my bday. ...Or I suppose my bday will remind me. Whatever works. :P

You could always ask for a hug?

I TOLD YOU IT WAS EPIC. Btw, did that count as Derek coming back? I didn't really mean that he came back to life, just that he was in the episode and I was really really happy to see him --;;

I thought iPhones sucked.

Nah, I called a future!Derek coming back. I thought it was especially bittersweet for John Connor to first see the three people that he'll have to send back in time to die.
