Shine on Me

I've been trying to figure out whether I should post this or not because while I think it's awesome, it's also pretty awful. The song's not bad, and the video itself is pretty good as far as music vids go, but iff anyone else can figure out what the hell's going on in, tell me. It's absolutely bizarre.
But hey, random exploding things. Yay!
ETA: To the ASOIAF fans, Chris Dane Owens for Rhaegar. You know it.
Anyhow, I went to visit my politics professor for my grade on the last essay, which basically counted as my final exam. Yeah. I have an A in that class. One down. Four more to go.
German exam's tomorrow. 12:30. I've got my alarm set for 9AM, I guess. I'll spend some time reviewing one last time and eating breakfast. Unfortunately for me, most of the vocab being tested is recent stuff from when I've been slacking off on keeping up. Basically all nouns from the body parts and food chapters. I get more excited about verbs than I do nouns. ...Actually, the fact that I get excited about learning verbs at all says a lot about me, huh?
Chinese and English is on Saturday. I assume I'll have to set my alarm clock for 8AM or something, and I'll be going to them in my pajamas. I also expect I'll be doing most of my Chinese studying tomorrow afternoon after my German exam. Nothing to really study for English besides to make sure I've read most of the plays (one I'm not bothering with, but there's still another that halfway through now) and have vague ideas ready for each of the possible essay topics.
Econ is on Wednesday, so I'll have Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to go through the book and make sure I understand everything. It's going to be multiple choice, and the professor's promised no twists, so I'm fairly certain that if the difficulty's the same as the midterm, then as long as I understand the important bits, I'm good to go.

Date: 2008-12-13 01:41 am (UTC)F'n hell to Rhaegar though. Plus there needing to be "Do I dazzle you?" icons made of him and the video. It/he's so 80s. I think I might have to fangirl bits of it just for that. It's like a Rick Astley-voiced person turned into a Twilight-dazzle version of Rhaegar. Damn that's a whole new level of special.
As to (Richard) Armitage daily, they're mostly posting Spooks pics now, but he was the one playing the new smexy Sir Guy of Gisborne in that part bad, part good BBC Robin Hood series. Part good in that despite the abysmal start, I'm told that the slash is excellent, OT3s likewise, and the second series is actually good. I just watched for Ricky-boy.
As in, I imagine the videos got messed up in Firefox, my seeing the same video posted by them and you a few hours later. No idea what was going on.

Date: 2008-12-13 01:59 am (UTC)Twilight-dazzle Rhaegar. Hm. ...Hm.
Robin Hood's one of those series that I've been meaning to check out a few episodes of but never bothered. I might get to doing that over Xmas break then.

I love that his YouTube Shine on Me video lists everything fantasy and then "Dragon Ball Z" in its keywords. Ahaha. Classy, love, classy. *hides own Vegeta FAIL icon*
