So, UMCP decided I was an out-of-state citizen. I figure this is because I said I was registered to vote in MA even though I wasn't sure--I hadn't realized that would disqualify me from being considered in-state, so I didn't even think about it. Now, of course, I've checked, and I am actually registered with MD, which is good. I called the office, and they're looking up my file and said they'd call me back tomorrow. I'm hoping just some quick words will fix the issue, but if not, the rebuttal process to prove that I pretty much live here is long and lengthy, but there's not a bit that I can't prove.
But seriously. What a pain in the ass. What part of military currently stationed within the state do they not understand?
