May. 3rd, 2009 06:16 pmI have to admit that despite not particularly liking the Mozart l'Opera Rock CD, I'm really fond of Le Bien Qui Fait Mal. In general, I find the female voices really high, tinny, and generally unpleasant sopranos, and the higher notes meant for Mozart aren't in Mikelangelo's (whose last name eludes me) comfortable range. That does't make him sound bad at all, just his isn't the sort of voice I'd use to carry a musical since it's lacking the power I think a main character needs. Anyway, it's a French musical, which means it's great zoning out/homework music for me.
In other news, I'm very busily not doing my work. Alas.
(Is the high note in Ich Gehör Nur Mir really high A? Because I refuse to believe that--especially since in that case, it's in my range, which it is most certainly not.)
