So I found this Mafia name generator.

I am apparently "The Yak."  I was slightly disappointed.  On a whim, I punched in Mate Kamaras.  "Baby Buns."  Yeah.  No longer disappointed with "The Yak."  Clearly, it could be even less intimidating.

Anyway, the point is, emago needs to go punch in her name (Abby, not Abigail), and lol at the result.  And by lol, I mean LOL.

1. so it looks like moh really does like maya.  or something.  tracey's cool btw.  no pun intended.  i feel cheated of a fight scene though.

2. peter's powers gone forever.  yes.  yesyesyes.  uhhh--his father is both giving out powers, but peter's are gone forever.  right.  contradict much?

3. elle!  yayz! yayz for being a thousand times a better actress than claire!  Claire is actually pathetically bad here.  Luckily, Elle is great.

4. What's Mohinder done with his hair?  It's slicked back?  What?  Also, I'm curious where Maya will go from here.  Ideally, it's the last of her since I can't imagine what story purpose she can serve.  Also curious about Moh.  Oh, Moh's gotten slightly smarter.  Now he knows he's falling into a trap.

5. Elle is great.  She garners so much more sympathy than Claire ever can just on basis of not acting like a snooty brat.    I wish the show would cast a few more darkhaired chicks though, fewer blondes.

6. Aaaand another superpowered guy down and out.  In other news, Daphne is totally growing on me.  Knox too, actually, though I'd have a hard time saying why when it comes to Knox.

7. Claire is so goddamn whiney.  She really does think she's the center of the world, or at least that's how Hayden's acting makes it seem like.  Every time Claire gets emo, I can't help but think that a better actor could've made it sympathetic.

8.  Matt and Mohinder on the phone.  Begs the question: where the hell's Molly?  Anyhow, I like Daphne.  And I think Daphne/Matt are cute.  I'm glad Daphne didn't have the heart to kill him either.

9. Oh, damn.  Is Peter gonna get his powers back again this soon?  Damn.  APPARENTLY NOT.  I LOVE YOU SYLAR.  And I guess we now know what a Mohinder and Sylar meet up would be like now.  Interesting that Sylar didn't fight back.

10. I can't imagine Elle being on a plane and her uncontrolled shocks being safe for the plane.  Yeaaaah, not so good.  I think Claire is a bitch too, just as written.  I just think she'd be more sympathetic otherwise.

11. ...Matt?  Really?  Matt?  Daphne?  Whaaaaaaaat?  Knox, btw, is kinda cute in this boyish way.  I think that's why I like him.  OH I GET IT NOW.  Argh, Daphne's squee and kiss after the fact was kinda lame.

12. You know, Sylar is actually very easily manipulated.

13.  I think that's it for Maya.  I hope so.  Not a bad ending, really.

14. Good question, Claire, because Peter shouldn't have survived that with just some ouchies.  Sylar broke his fall, maybe?  Double agenting it out?  (ETA: Yup.  Sylar, I'm betting.)

15. Daphne IS double agenting it out.  Well done!

Final Thoughts: Argh, not more time jumping sequences.  Seems like next episode's a massive flashback too.  Hm.  Not a bad episode though.  Wrapping up lines, tightening up lines, paths are starting to coincide, it's all good.  The story-telling is getting a bit neater.  This was definitely a transition episode.
