Feeling ambivalent about the ACT. While I do think that if I tried taking it again, I wouldn't do any better. I ran out of time on the math section (though I did read the last three that I didn't do before time was up and I didn't know how to solve any of them anyway) but I feel I did solid on everything I answered and my guesses were probably right, but it's a math test. I never feel too confident about math tests.
English was a joke. I finished it ten minutes early and I doubt I got more than a few wrong.
Science and reading was... interesting. You see, I flipped ahead and saw that if I wanted to finish it all in time, I had better read FAST, especially for reading. I realized there was no way in hell I could read that fast.
So I didn't read anything. I went straight to the questions, and looked back to the text for the answers. This made a lot of the "What do you think the focus of this passage is about?" kinda challenging, so I did have to skim through and figure out what was happening and how many paragraphs were devoted to such and such topic. I think I would've done worse if I tried to read the text in full. I saw how many people finished in time and there weren't too many of us.
I feel better about not reading the stuff in science though. I didn't understand any of the terminology so it was all gibberish to me regardless of whether I read through it or not.
