NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!   I DONT WANNA GO TO SCHOOOOLLL D: D: D: D:  /whine

Anyway.

I am one big epic fail at packing.  Our car, and to be fair, our car is small for a gas-chugging all-American SUV (actually, it's a German car, but whatever), is jam-packed.  We've reorganized so we have the space to stuff in [livejournal.com profile] emago's care-package, and now we've just got to hope that we never need to back up because there's no way you can see through that (yeah, that's what rear-view mirrors are for, I know).  It's mostly the refrigerator, printer, and TV being a pain.  But then, I also have three suitcases filled with clothes, and three milk crates filled with crap, plus another big box o' shoes.  We had another box o' random crap that we exchanged for "pile of stuff on the floor of the trunk" since the box took up too much space.

Hilariously, while we were putting the TV inside the car, the garage door broke.  It took us a while before we figured out how to unlock it and lift it up manually.

I'm slightly concerned because I'm not bringing any books.  Like, leisure reading.  I suppose I'll just buy new stuff rather than reread old stuff.  Or perhaps I'll spend the spare time writing.

Or you'll use the library, either school or public?

Have fun at school!

...The library thought hadn't even occurred to me. Huh. I need to learn to abuse my resources more.

Libraries are among my favorite places in the whole world. All those books, totally free.

Used to be for me too until I moved. The town library where I live now is utter shit--albeit shit with a great foreign periodicals section if I felt a pressing urge to read Japanese magazines. :P

Ah, college packing. Always so much fun *cough-not-cough*. Enjoy your trip! (How long of a trip is it, anyway?)

Well, I'm stopped at NJ now at a friend's house, and traffic was absolutely beautiful, so it took about three hours plus a half an hour coffee break on the road. It'll be one more hour to drive into NYC tomorrow.

Trust me, I'm doing everything in my power to enjoy my last day of summer. :P

I'm in Edison, which is kinda middle of nowhere. I'm pretty sure there is absolutely nothing to do in town (besides get high, which I can't say is on my To Do list), but at least our family friends are amazing cooks so I get One Final Meal before I'm back to mostly cafeteria food and college staples. :P

But I can dream of the shore. :)

Unfortunately, I don't think the minuscule collection of books I brought up is going to be of much help.

Still you could spend the time just walking around :D

Well, the first few days will obviously have to be spent on unpacking, so I've got a while before I'm forced to go searching for the nearest library/bookstore. Until then, I had better catch up on my writing and rping. >.>

*puts on character voice* I know one thing you can do without books! You only need your PC and lj for it! How does the saying go in English: 'Do it or I'll eat you'? Or even better... I make you fall in love with... hm... Gregorius. ;P

It is done.

(Oh, god, not Gregorius. Anyone but.)

I think that as long as we don't have a Bottom, somebody at some point needs to be made to fall in love with Gregorius.

And seeing that there's indeed this cute little bugger called Puck in the game now who at some point might seriously be in need of some punishment... I think falling in love with Gregorius might be an option. ;P
