Not really getting anywhere, mostly just wanted to familiarize myself with the language before I start taking classes at school (it's still on the course catalog despite having only 3 students, so I'm still hoping it's good to go). I picked up this little gem (http://www.amazon.com/Hungarian-Course-Hippocrene-Language-Studies/dp/0870528173), which has got to be the most fantastic book for a language I've ever encountered even if it's hugely out of date.
