Heroes. Again

liakuI'm thoroughly looking forward to this episode sucking. That last Sarah Connor Chronicles though? Amazing. Just brilliant. Kinda like the last episode. Can't wait to see how bad this finale is.
1) Yay Seth Green in beginning LAST TIME ON HEROES interlude. In other news, I swear I keep waiting for Hiro to turn into badass future!Hiro, but all he does is get progressively less badass.
2) ...Is Claire the catalyst then. Damn. Goddamn.
3) In this instance, it's working quite well, but I think all this jumping around in time is bad for the story.
4) SYLAR'S THEME. I love his theme song.
5) Haitian. I love you.
6) To be fair, Tracey's by FAR the coolest Ali Larter incarnation. Nathan was also bitching in that scene. ETA: ALI LARTER WHAT IS THAT DRESS.
7) This is the first out-of-present-time story that's any good.
8) "Cake."
9) I do approve of the mutant military idea. It makes sense that that's what Arthur's got planning. I'm still on the fence about what they're doing with the idea. I think I like the sergeant's acting.
10) I'm guessing Matt didn't read the comic book guy's intentions until after he got the book. that's the only thing that'd make sense.
11) Actual kid!Hiro is much more bearable than 10yo!Hiro. Hiro's mom is wonderful though.
12) HRG in all his past glory. I love it. I want him to be smart, chilly, brilliant, and badass in the present time again though. That's what I want for Christmas.
13) Okay. I have to admit that I like Claire. And I'm liking the entire past sequence in this episode. Hiro's mom owns my soul.
14) Okay. Hiro's mother is breaking my heart.
15) You know, where's Mohinder been?
16) AHAHAHAHA. Sylar. "Does kinda tingle."
17) Okay. I don't like Papa Petrelli.
18) So is Momo going to be pretty again? Is Papa Petrelli going to kill him? Or something? Come on.
19) They should've given the Haitian the gun instead of Peter. Why wasn't this a one-man mission anyway? He could've pulled it off without Peter's help.
20) FUCK THIS PETER. JUST SHOOT HIM.

Er. The verdict?
The episode was jawdroppingly awesome. Because of Hiro's mom. She alone made it awesome. And amazing. And heartbreaking.
Also, amazingly enough, Claire was actually likable. Not merely "not annoying" but likable. Crazy world.
